Week 4 - Running Out of Creative Titles

So this week was pretty much the same ol' same ol'. The kids are really getting the hang of their reading logs and I have taken Jasmin to the Dollar Tree 4 times already. I have also started her to counting to 100 by 1's twice a day until she can do it without any help. This is actually a requirement in order for a kindergartner to go to first grade but since she is ESOL, this wasn't a requirement for her. Unfortunately, knowing how to count was an important part of the math tests that she took. I enjoy watching her progress and this week we went to the public library to meet up with her teacher from last year. Her teacher brought her two daughters with her and she told me that she could notice Jasmin's speed increasing when she was reading. Success!!  That's all for now!
