Week 2
This week, just like last we had new dogs arriving. However, this time it was puppies, 10 week old puppies. When we received them, we were told they were all put into a box and thrown out on the side of the street from a moving vehicle. After all 3 pups were settled in. Abby and others decided to name them. There were 2 girls and 1 boy. The girls were named Kim and Kate, the boy was named Cameron. Each pup had their own traits, some good and some bad. However, that was not a problem as all 3 were adopted. Within a week they were all gone but one. Kim and Kate had found a home. It was easier for them because they looked like traditional border collies and thats what people wanted when they came here. However, Cameron the only male pup was very different to his sisters. The pups were border collie/ caddle dog mixes. Well Cameron carried more of the caddle dog kind of look, which made it harder to get adopted in a border collie rescue. Don't get me wrong there was nothing wrong with him, he is a peaceful and loving puppy who enjoys sleeping and really cares for his owner. How do I know that? well because I adopted him. It was a quick bond, was not much of a hard decision. We connected quickly and now we are best buds. He now goes by Raider.
