SOS 3

Georgia is really nice state and the food was excellent, I think I gained 10 lbs. but that is not important. Before the semester was over, I was asked if I wanted to be one the Bonner Congress Representative and at first I was scared because it was like being called to the Dean’s office and you start to recall all the times you did something wrong. However, I did not do anything wrong, but I did everything right. Before SLI, I was nervous about the position, but at the SLI I was able to understand what I will doing for the next two years, and really let myself go. The workshops help give a better understand of the nature how other Bonner schools in the networks worked. By being around other students with different Bonner, experience gave me ideas for the big idea. I learned two big things from SLI: One, is that everyone has been giving a legacy and u to us to find ways to live and not leave it. Second, service to our neighbors and community takes courage and character to stand up and live for equality and justice. Everyone has the ability to live for those, but most importantly serve others. As a Bonner Congress Rep, I will strive for those things. On a lighter note, Berry College nice place and the deer were cool to see in the morning as well.
