Return to the Office!
Ah, back in the CCE... Not that it had been too long since I had been there, but my short break from the office made me miss it nonetheless. Although Summer has left the campus empty and absent of the usual hustle and bustle, there is plenty of work to be done to get ready for the upcoming year: scheduling site visits, planning workshops, creating committees, oh my! Heather has sent me a very large list of Summer tasks that I can start tackling, and I'm already brainstorming like crazy.
An interesting assignment that I look forward to working on is the Buddy Walk. This is the first time it will be held on Stetson's campus, which is exciting! In order to better prepare, we've decided to create a student committee which will help plan, run, and further the success of the walk. We're looking at having a Logistics, Recruitment, Fundraising, and Marketing Chair to head the committee, and then hoping to start finding interested students when the Fall semester begins. For now, I'm keeping in touch with Gail from The Arc and helping her out with whatever she needs from us this Summer!
That's about it for now! Now back to work...
Can't wait for the Buddy walk to be here at Stetson! And now, whenever I walk in and see you behind the desk, I am going to picture this GIF LOLOLOLOL
